Axone Governance is divided into 3 subcategories:
- Idea: Share your ideas for governance proposals and get feedback from the community before drafting a formal proposal.
- Proposal discussion: Discuss governance proposals with the community before and after they’re launched.
- Past: Archived discussions and proposals, providing context and history for our governance decisions.

- Parameter Change: Proposals for parameter changes to Cosmos or Axone custom modules.
- Software Upgrade: Coordinate chain-wide software upgrades with specific upgrade heights or times.
- Smart Contract Deployment: During the initial phase of the Axone mainnet, CosmWASM smart contract deployment will be permissioned, allowing only whitelisted accounts to deploy contracts. This topic is for discussing potential permissions.
